Legacy Membership Sessions
Photos are part of your family’s legacy
As a Bay Area Lifestyle Family Photographer,
I want every family to have visual documentation of their story. After all, what’s not documented gets forgotten. So how could I make it easy for my clients to document their stories year after year?
I asked myself what some of the barriers busy moms faced when scheduling family photos were. Obviously, the cost is one. Professional photographs are an investment. Another barrier is time. You think about scheduling a session but somehow just never get around to doing it.
So I wondered how to make it easy to schedule and pay for family sessions and eliminate all the hassle.
That’s why I launched something brand new in 2021. It’s my Legacy Membership.
Membership ensures that you have yearly images documenting every chapter of your story.

All your legacy membership questions answered
When should I book my family session?
My calendar fills up quickly, especially during the fall, so I encourage you to book early. One of the perks of membership is first dibs at dates on my calendar. I open my calendar 3 months in advance, but I’m happy to book further out if you have a date in mind.
Can anyone become a Legacy member?
No, Legacy membership is only open to past or current clients.
What is A Day in Life Photography?
For me, A Day in Life photography is about capturing real people, real relationships, real personalities, real emotions, and real moments. It’s about capturing your life, just as it is now.
It’s about capturing moments that happen in your everyday life: the laughter, the cuddles, and all of the love.
How do the optional mini sessions work?
The mini-session option is something I wanted to offer to members simply because sometimes they come in handy. Optional mini-sessions will be 30 minutes long, include a complete set of digital files, and cost $450, billed separately.
Let’s say you want to get a few professional family photos when your parents and siblings all come to town for an event, or you’re pregnant and would like a few photos of your belly but would rather than schedule your “real” session when the baby comes, or you and your partner both need updated headshots… these are all examples where a mini-session might be scheduled.
I don’t offer these to the general public, but they’re going to be an option for all my members at any time, assuming I have availability. Don’t get thrown off, though: if you don’t need a mini-session, no problem. If you want it, it’s there.
How many images are in a typical gallery, and can I select which images I want to download?
I capture many images during your session. Each image is carefully reviewed to ensure that you receive the very best images that tell your story. Once I have selected the images that represent my work and your story, the edited images will be uploaded to your gallery. RAW and unedited images will not be delivered as they are not representative of my work.
There are usually 50-100 edited images in every gallery and they are all yours to downoad.
Will I get my digital files right away, even if I’ve only made one or two payments before the session?
Yep! Once you sign up and make that initial payment, you can book your session immediately. Further, you will receive your gallery on my normal schedule (typically 1-2 weeks after the session) and will be able to download your files and use your print credit as soon as you have access to the gallery.
“Life is the flower for which love is the honey.”
Do you charge a travel fee?
My sessions take me to the East Bay, South Bay, North Bay, and Peninsula. There is no travel fee for clients that live within 50 miles of Oakland. There is a $100 fee for locations more than 50 miles away.
Do you offer prints or albums?
Yes! I have always loved to look at photo albums and my home is filled with images of my family. My hope is that every client will turn their images into works of art that will be treasured for years to come. You will have the option to purchase prints, wall art, and albums through your gallery. All products are processed through a professional lab only available to professional photographers to ensure the best quality. I only guarantee quality on products ordered through your gallery.
Do you offer gift certificates?
I sure do. You can choose which collection you would like to gift. The recipient can also choose to upgrade their collection after the session. You can purchase gift certificates, HERE.
What can I expect during and after the session?
You can expect a relaxed experience both during and after your session. Once you’re booked I will send you a link with all the details.
