When it comes to inviting a photographer into your personal space for a session, building a connection becomes paramount. It’s important for your photographer to get to know you and your family, but it’s just as important to take the time to get to know your photographer and understand their style, approach, and personality.
So, I invite you to get to know me. From being an introvert with social anxiety to a passionate reader, a world traveler, a loving mother, a doting grandmother, a dedicated wife, and a multi-talented professional, here are just a few things you might not know about me.
Unveiling the Unexpected – Navigating Social Anxiety and Embracing Introversion
You know what’s funny? Despite being an outgoing person online, I’ve always considered myself a bit of an introvert, dealing with social anxiety. But guess what? I’ve come to embrace these quiet moments, the ones that allow me to recharge and find my inner balance. It’s all about striking that perfect harmony between personal boundaries and forging meaningful connections.
The Magic of Words – Getting Lost in the Pages and Finding Inspiration
Oh, the sheer joy that books bring into my life! There’s something utterly magical about diving headfirst into different worlds, getting lost among the pages, and emerging with a newfound sense of inspiration, solace, and knowledge. These words have the power to transport us, opening our minds to endless possibilities. Fun fact…..I read 75 books last year! My goal this year is 80.
Love and Laughter – Celebrating Blended Families and Cherishing Parenthood
Let’s now turn the spotlight on the most cherished part of my life – my blended family. They fill my heart with an abundance of love and fulfillment. Being a mother and a grandmother is an absolute blessing, and witnessing the growth and happiness of my loved ones brings immeasurable joy. And I’m thrilled that our family continues to grow with another grandchild due in March.
Partners in Adventure – The Furry Companions Who Remind Me of Life’s Simple Joys
No life adventure is complete without a little furry fun! Meet Fuzzy Navel and Mojito, my adorable partners in crime. These four-legged, tail-wagging bundles of joy bring endless laughter to my days and serve as a constant reminder to appreciate the simple joys life has to offer. Whether we’re embarking on exciting adventures or enjoying lazy Sunday snuggle sessions, their presence fills my heart with warmth.
From Scrubs to Shutterbugs – Finding Fulfillment in Visual Narratives
Can you believe it? I made the leap from nursing to photography! This career transition has been an incredible journey filled with capturing visual narratives and creating stories that speak volumes. The fulfillment I find in this art form is beyond words, and I’m eager to share more of it with you.
Ah, the travel bug!
Once it bites ya, it’s like this constant itch to see the world. It’s like a hunger that never really goes away, ’cause the more you travel, the more you wanna keep going. This bug opens your eyes to all sorts of cool stuff – new cultures, stunning landscapes, and crazy-awesome encounters. It’s like this craving for adventure that just won’t quit. Whether you’re wandering through busy city streets, trekking in the middle of nowhere, or diving headfirst into local traditions, this bug makes you want to go all out and experience everything life has to offer. It’s like a lifelong obsession, my friend.
Last, but certainly not least!
But you know what? None of this would be possible without the incredible support from my rockstar husband. He’s been there every step of the way, encouraging me to step out of my comfort zone and grow as an individual. I’m forever grateful for his unwavering support and love.
I look forward to getting to know you at our next session.
