Everything you need to know
in 3 easy steps!
1…Choose which Day in the Life Session is right for you
2….Capture beautiful memories
3…Select your collection and create priceless heirlooms
What does a day in your life look like? Do you cherish the cup of coffee that you and your partner have before the little ones wake up? Maybe you have movie night each week, and everyone snuggles on the couch in pj’s. Perhaps Saturday morning is the day that you all make breakfast together. You see where I’m going with this? I know from experience that these are the moments that you are going to want to remember when the little ones are grown.
Let’s make memories that you’ll look back on for years to come. Getting booked is as easy as 1-2-3!
Step 1: Scheduling Your Session
So how does this work?
In order to reserve your spot on my calendar, you will need to sign your photography agreement and pay a session retainer of $350. The session is not booked until the session retainer is paid in full.

- Home sessions will be predetermined by the activities that you want to capture, and the time we will be spending together. The morning routine and bedtime are popular options.
- Fall and spring are the busiest time of year for outdoor photos, so booking in advance will ensure your preferred date.
- If you have a particular date or holiday by which you need prints or gifts, be sure to book at least one month before that date to ensure sufficient processing and printing time.
After you’re booked, I will send you a questionnaire to get to know you and your family better. After I’ve had a chance to review your questionnaire, we will come up with a plan for your session. Sessions are only limited by your imagination! I want to make sure I document your family as authentically as possible so that your images will say, “this is our family.”

Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory.

Step 2: Your Session
Think of our session together as, A day in your life. What do I mean by this? Let’s use your session to capture what a day looks like for your family at this stage of life. Your session could include your morning routine of making coffee and snuggling on the couch. Or maybe bathtime and bedtime are the time you cherish most right now. I promise when you look back at photos in ten or twenty years, these are the memories that are going to matter.
Five to seven days before our session is scheduled, I’ll reach out to confirm our time, location, and meeting point. If the weather looks questionable or if someone is not feeling well, we can talk about rescheduling.
On the day of your session, please block off the appropriate time. Don’t worry, you won’t be “on” for the entire time and I promise you won’t be ready for me to leave after the first hour.
When we meet, I always like to spend a few minutes making sure everyone is comfortable, especially the little ones.
I want your session to be real and stress-free. Please don’t expect the little ones to be looking at the camera; let them run and play. That’s what real life looks like at this stage of your life. If you need a beer or mimosa before or during your session- I won’t judge!

“Family is not an important thing. It’s everything.”
Michael J. Fox
Step 3: The Fun Part
Within 2 weeks of your session, you will receive an email letting you know that I have chosen the very best images from your session and artistically edited them.
I will send you a link to your custom, first-look slideshow, and your gallery images will be available for download.
All Collections come with either a custom book or an album which I will design for you. Your gallery will remain open for 30 days, during which time you can use your complimentary print credit on items in your store. Your print credit is completely complimentary; there is no cash value for the credit.
I’m just a phone call away if you need help. If you would like to see samples of products that are offered, I have samples, and I’m more than happy to meet and show you.

What you do with your images is one of the most important aspects to consider when you’re planning a session.
All that time and money invested deserve a better return than photos gathering dust on a hard drive. You will never get the same feeling looking at your photos on a screen as you will seeing them on your wall or o the pages of an album. That’s why I include a substantial complimentary print credit.
